Pet Insurance was founded by Jack Stephens, DVM, in Boise, Idaho.
Credited with developing pet insurance in the United States,
Dr.
Stephens is determined to end "economic euthanasia."

1981, he was forced to put a dog down when the owner could not afford
treatment. The child of the owner saw him shortly afterward
and
told her mother he was, "the one who killed our dog."
The next year, Dr. Stephens founded the
first US pet
insurance company. After 25 years experience in the pet insurance
industry, Pets Best was founded in 2005.

included as are the

panel
- Fecal
- Heartworm
- Urinalysis
While most pet
insurance companies
exclude behavioral and hereditary
conditions, pregnancies and burial or cremation, Pets Best may
cover your pet in these situations.
Do make sure to read the excluded breeds for
pregnancy and
hereditary limitations. Hip Dysplasia
and Von Willebrand Disease are hereditary conditions that may be of
concern as a GSD owner.
