Affinity for the German Shepherd
Beautiful, noble and intelligent, the German Shepherd dog plays a variety of different roles. From service dog to police K-9... to loyal companion and family protector.
These magnificent animals are an integral part of our society.

Breed founder, Captain Max von Stephanitz, set about looking for a dog that existed only in his mind:
"...firm of nerve, attentiveness, unshockability, tractability, watchfulness, reliability, and incorruptibility together with courage, fighting tenacity and hardness."
At a dog show, he discovered a clever and tenacious wolf-like canine and knew he was onto something. His dream was soon realized and the amazingly versatile GSD became reality.

"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."
