Border Collie x German Shepherd mix Noki

Our Noki looks like a small black German Shepherd, big erect ears, with some white on her chest and on her left paws.

She loves people, herding (we attend herding school and at home she herds our two indoor cats - if they run out the door she runs around them and stops them), agility, frisbees, balls and tools (showels, spades, rakes, brooms etc - she always wants to "help" us and it's sometimes a bit annoying). She also loves sauna and swimming.

We live in Finland and she is a typical Finn - first in the sauna (opens the door with the handle) - she sits with us, although we try to tell her to go lower and when we go swimming she's first in and herds us until the last one is up from the lake... She loves playing with us through the mirror - she watches us in the mirror and when we move our hands she turns around and gives us a kiss.

Noki is 49 lbs and sheds twice / year for a couple of weeks. Her fur is thick and soft.
