Shepadoodle
Cross between a German Shepherd and a Standard
Poodle, this dog is very
intelligent. Recognized by
the American Canine Hybrid Club, this mixed breed is a low to no
shedding dog.
German Shepherd Standard Poodle Hybrids are
protective
like Shepherds,
but sociable like Labradoodles. A Shepadoodle will want to be
close to you, but also enjoys being
independent. They normally weigh between 50-70
pounds.
Wolf Dog
A
Wolf Dog Hybrid will be a very intelligent animal. Skittish by nature,
wolfdogs will not make great guard dogs. They have special
needs and may be illegal in some areas.

What is a Mixed Dog Breed?
When a dog breed is planned, you will see terms
such as
F1, F1b, F2, F2b and F3. What does this mean?
- F1 refers to a first generation puppy. For
instance,
this dog will be 50% purebred German Shepherd and 50% purebred Siberian
Husky.
- F1b is also called a backcross puppy. Using
the same example as above, this dog will be 25% purebred
German Shepherd and 75%
purebred Siberian Husky. For example, an F1 GSD and Husky cross is bred
back to a Husky.
- F2 refers to a second generation puppy. This
would be an F1 hybrid crossed with
another
F1 hybrid. A GSD/Husky mix bred with and another GSD/Husky mix. This
dog will contain the same amount of purebred GSD as purebred
Husky.
- F2b is a second generation backcross puppy.
An F1 bred to
an
F1b (hybrid backcross).
- F3 is and F2 hybrid crossed with
another F2 hybrid.
- Multi-generation is an F3 (or higher
generation hybrid)
crossed with an F3 or another higher generation hybrid.
