I have a great big mixed German Shepherd

Bear is VERY overweight. We just acquired her from another family, and she is in desperate need of losing weight.

Her face looks like a shepherd, except that her muzzle is shorter than most. Her coloring is definitely that of a German Shepherd, but her ears are not like those of a full-bred German Shepherd. I am trying to find out what she is a mix of.

Her paws are gigantic, much larger than the average adult German Shepherd. She is roughly 130 lb. but I would guess that she's got a good 40 to 50 lb. to lose to be at her optimum weight.
