White German Shepherd Puppy Jake

White German Shepherd Puppy Jake

I rescued Jake from Craigslist. Some dude bought a white GSD to keep his pitbull company but the pit was too agressive.

I went and picked up Jake on 3/28/11 and he was at 14 pds. The guy told me he was almost 5 months old at the time. Jake was very skinny and malnourished. You could see his ribs and hip bones very very well.

It is now 4/24/11. Just under a month later and Jake is now 20" height and 37 pds. I've been feeding him Wellness brand dry puppy food. He has been going thru 7-9 cups of food daily.

At this time Jake is supposedly just shy of 6 months old, but for the past 10 days he has been losing his baby teeth. He has lost a total of 6-7 teeth in past 10 days.

From his size/looks/teeth I'm assuming Jake is 4 months old now and not 6 months old like I was told.

He is looking a lot solid now tho. I'm expecting him to go from 37 pds-50 pds in the next month. ;)
