GSD Jethro at 4 months

GSD Jethro at 4 months

We got Jethro at 6 weeks old and he was 10 pounds. Looked like a normal GSD Pup. To my wife's displeasure his black/brown ratio never changed that much and is a bi-color and not a saddle back like she would have liked. But Jethro at his 4 month check up just a few days after he turned 4 months weighed in at a big 59.6 pounds and 23 inches tall at his front shoulders.

His dad was a large traditional and his mom was a large solid black. Me and my wife were curious and wanted input on how large everyone thinks he will top out at? He his already taller and almost as heavy as our Female shepherd mix. Curious what people thought? Thanks.

Jethro update - How much bigger will he get?

GSD at 6 months 75 lbs

GSD at 6 months 75 lbs

This is my Jethro at 6 months old and 75 lbs. Me and the wife are curious how much bigger he will get and would like any input from anyone. He is already passed the charts up and last I checked he was 26 inches at the withers.

This is our first full shepherd. We met both the parents - they were large also but he is already as big as his dad in height and 25 lbs shy of the his dad's weight.

Looking at his build and ears he reminds me more of a Malinois than a German shepherd. Any input would be helpful.

Thanks,
Shaun

Jethro update just over 100 lbs

Well Jethro is just over a year old now.

He has grown into an intelligent, beautiful GSD. He is just over 100 lbs and still filling out good.

His color is still changing a little at a time, he is not traditional but he is beautiful. He is very smart and likes to follow me around it drives him crazy when he can't be by me.

He is awesome with the kids and allows them to do what ever they want to him.
