Food
by: Kristina

We found the combination that works for Kreiger. He is eating 3 times a day still. He gets in each meal 1 cup Blue Buffalo Wilderness, 1/4 cup white rice and 1/4 cup boiled chicken and chicken livers. Finally his stools are easy to pick up! Lol!

I am feeding my puppy Blue Buffalo puppy and he too has soft stools. I will finish this bag and may switch over to something else. Let me know if you find a quality food that firms up stools.

Thank you!

Hi Samantha,

I completely agree about adding grains yourself instead of buying big bags of expensive grain!

How much do you add?

How's your pup doing? How are those ears?

I will be adding more pictures soon....I've been lazy with the camera lately!

Innova white rice
by: samantha

We had the same problem. We feed Innova mixed with Taste of the Wild for all four of our dogs.

Our vet suggested that we add a little bit of white rice to our dogs food and now their stools are not as soft. This way, although our dogs eat grain free dog food, we can monitor the amount of grain and we are not paying for a large bag of grains.

I have heard that Origen and Blue Buffalo are good quality, but I have never used them. A little white rice really does the trick.

Hope this helps.
