I have been having the same problem with soft stools using Blue Buffalo. I have since switched to Royal Canin Puppy, but I don't know the results yet.
Have you found a food yet that doesn't cause soft stools? He really loves the Royal Canin. I also want the best. The Blue Buffalo seemed to be so dense that he wasn't utilizing the food. So, I feel I was throwing money away.
