Our Sammy

We adopted Samantha from a rescue group. She is a purebred shepherd and beautiful. We got her at 14 weeks at 23 lbs.

She is now 6 mo. and 48 lbs. She had to be scoped because of coughing. Found out she had bordetella disease and her lungs were very infected.

She continued to be a cutie though. We are almost finished with second course of antibiotics. Doing really well now.

I grew up with shepherds and just love the breed. Wanted my grandchildren to grow up around a shepherd.

Sammy is one week short of 9 months old and is 58 lbs.

She graduated obedience with flying colors. She is a sassy thing, but minds her manners to our 2 older greyhound girls (Della-10 and Caroline-9).

Della has acted like a "mom" to Sammy.
