German Shepherd Puppy - Rain at 9.5 weeks

I received Rain at 8.5 weeks old. At that time he weighed 14 pounds. He is a German import out of working / show lines. Sire weighed 92 pounds, dam 86 pounds. Now, at 11 weeks old, he is 29 pounds.

Ricky, slowed down at 6 months, but then had another growth spurt.

My GSD Ricky was 70 lbs at 6 months, and seemed to stop eating as much and didn't seem to gain at the same rate as before. Weighed him on the vets scale at 8 months (to the day) and low and behold, he was a whopping 93 lbs.

Rain went for his rabies vaccination today. He is tall and lean but weighs 72 pounds! What a horse! He still has plenty of skin to grow into and his paws are enormous.

We also met his sister from the same litter who is half his size and half his weight!

19 weeks

He weighed in today at 52.5 pounds... getting bigger :) but what a brat!! Sassy I tell ya!!

Rain is now 16 weeks and 47 pounds.

His ears have been taped now due to a very soft left ear. But coming along nicely.
