Maxine, my Shepsky

My dog's name is Maxine. I got her from the Atlanta Humane Society.

She was born on January 20, 2011. I adopted her in April 2011.

Maxine is an onlly pet and loves all dogs. She is hesitant with strangers, but extremely tolerant of small animals and children. Loves to chase rabbits, squirrels and cats, though! Definitely has a high prey drive!

Perhaps the best thing my son ever has done for me was to pick out Maxine from the shelter and care of the Atlanta Humane Society!

I simply love my Shepsky! She truly lives up to her heritage. She is my best friend. Very protective of my son and I in a very gentle manner.
